PS 1995

Available × 1

Small version of the keyhole clock that architect Thomas Eriksson designed for the first IKEA PS collection, shown at the 1995 Milan furniture fair. The form nods to the top section of a traditional floor clock, and the design is held in the permanent collection of Sweden's Nationalmuseum. Powder-coated steel, a silent quartz movement and a hinged front that opens onto a small storage compartment. The label with article number 15621 and a 1999 copyright suggests the miniature version entered the range in the late 1990s, but this unit comes from a later production run: the batch stamp 1830 reads as week 30 of 2018, when IKEA was reissuing its classics for the company's 75th anniversary. The full-size clock has returned to stores repeatedly and remains in the range today, and the IKEA Museum shop in Älmhult sells the miniature in six colours.
