Annie Huld
Annie Huld is an IKEA Children specialist, the catalogues credit her on more than sixty projects, mostly toys, textiles, and children’s-room furniture. Attributed work includes the MINNEN lamp (2006–2021, held in this archive) and pieces in the BUSUNGE, EKORRE, DUKTIG, FLISAT, DRÖMSYN, BRUM, BULLDOG, ANKA, and GOSIG ranges, most of them drawn in the soft, narrative register where colour and texture do as much work as form.
MINNEN, part of the broader children’s range, belongs to her later lighting work and is one of the longest-running children’s pieces in her catalogue presence. Her output sits inside the “warm IKEA children’s” tradition of the turn of the second decade of the 21st century: light forms, animal motifs, bright colour.
